Default Still having tranny issues

So the code my truck through was p0722 and p0720 both related to the output shaft sensor. I replaced the sensor and I'm still having issues. The truck threw the same codes again even with the new output shaft speed sensor. Are there any fuses dealing with that sensor I could check?

I am not aware of any fuse but if you have changed your speed sensor and you still have a problem, it is most likely a wiring issue like a bad ground, dirty connection, a broken wire, or a damaged or shorted wire. I would start with a visual inspection, clean the connection at the speed sensor and even add di-electric grease to the connection. If that does not do it, check the connection at the GEM, ground, and PCM. The ground is a pink/orange wire, the GEM and PCM is a black/gray wire. Since the truck is an older vehicle, the ground stands the best chance of being bad because it is exposed and could be corroded. Good luck on this.

To check the ground wire, run a wire from the positive post on your battery, through a lamp, and touch the wire out of the lamp to the ground wire at the speed sensor. If the lamp does not light or is not a steady light, you have a bad ground.
