I have two problems...

I just bought my 2000 Ford F150 from a private seller but the radio does not work at all, the time doesn't even display. I have checked the fuses and check the back of the stereo to see if it's getting power and all of that is fine. I thought maybe the stereo could be locked but I was told that if it was locked the time would still display. Not sure what could be the problem except that the stereo is not good. Any suggestions?

Also I have power locks but they won't lock/unlock with either the remote or by pressing the switch on the driver or passenger side. I can only lock and unlock by doing it manually.


Any ideas?

Well I have a 98 and I have problems with my locks only when it's cold out. Like they loose there connection. but once the truck warms up there fine. But I had the same problem with my stero. I played around with the fuses, checked all the wires. Nothing. I took my buddies idenitcal radio out and plug it in and it worked fine so I went to the local junk yard and pick one up for $5 Works fine to this day
