True if u think about it like that I would just prefer to access my tools from out side of bed imaged of having to climb in to the bed but It works and its what u like

I'm tall enough I can grab my tool case off the bottom of it standing beside the truck

My truck is the off road edition and has an additional 3 " body lift it sets on 33s plus I'm 6'3 there no way I could reach in to it if it was like yours

Supercrew beds aren't as deep but I'm 6' 4"

I have a cross over box in my crew cab. It's a usw or uws what ever there name is lol. It's black. And a low pro lid

I will take pictures of it later. Yeah it's kinda hard to find a box for the crew cab.... I guess the step side is the same way never really looked. I just used self tapping screws. My bed rail caps already had crazy amounts of holes in it from the last owner. I can also measure it for ya. It will be later today Tho. You can kinda see it is this pic. But I'll take betters ones later lol
