Default Steering maintenance

Hey guys. Alright so soon im going to go in and replace all my steering components, they are all getting pretty loose.(inner and outer tie rods, upper lower ball joints, pitman arm and idler arm). So while im doping this and have some of the front end in the air and semi torn down, is there anything else you guys would recommend replacing? truck has 83,000 miles on it, 2002 FX4 5.4
-Thanks

Check your bushings and you CV axles. They should still be good with the mileage you have. Make sure you get MOOG parts.

If you're going that far, replace the lower ball joints & have new bushings pressed in the LCA. Also do the sway bar links. You'll be good for another 100k. And yes, Moog is the way to go.

Also replace the in cv shaft seal. They are $8 from ford and will save you down the road on hub assemblies. The 03 I had had 230k on it when I sold it and a hub assembly had never been replaced.
