My 2003 F150 steering column vibrates when going over rough roads. When having the front end aligned, the Tech could shake the steering column. What appears to be the problem is that the bushing that holds the column where it goes through the fire wall. That bushing seems to be warn and has created a gap between the steering column and the firewall bushing. Is there any fix for this problem.

 

There are two bolts under the column which are probably loose. Find them and tighten them.
