Default starting problem

97' f150 4.6L When I turn my key to start position i get nothing not even a click. I can start it by jumping the starter relay by the battery. The relay also gets 12v signal when I turn the key to start position. Oh, it does have an imobolizer I'm wondering if its the problem. I'm confused any ideas?

my truck does that on and off, I've concluded the problem is in the fuel line, there isn't enough fuel getting to the motor when trying to start it, i get around it by turning the key back and forth a few times to get the gas flowing, check the fuel pump though
