Default Starting problem....

OK, so for a while now, my ford likes to not start. Normally i just have to sit there and play with the key. but its been 2 days of trying that and she still wont start. everything else comes on system lights everything. when i turn the key it just gives one good "CLICK" thats it. so ya'll think its the starter or like the relay? i got out today and behind the battery is the selionoid? i jumped that out, and still just got on good "CLICK". so im thinking its my starter.... i just did the starter ummmmmm a year and a half ago? but i dont wanna pull the starter until i get atleast a second opinion lol...

thank you guys,
steve

The wires leading to the starter tend to wick corrosion. Check the connections at the starter for corrosion. I have had to replace mine twice.

TheJMC, you were right. the bottom part of the groud wire that bolts to the starter pretty much turned to dust when i tried to twist it to look at it. Did a lil splicing, now she's all good. thank you
