i have a 2000 f150 and i went to start it today and it started very roughly so i turned it off and tryed to start it again and nothing happen the starter does make a noise like its spining inside but i dont think its catching anyone got any input as to what else it might be?

 

This sound like the starter drive...... or the brushes.... but to me its a drive they are only about 20 bucks...

 

its the starter drive the gear that you can see in the starter?

 

and if they run the test on it will it come back bad if its one of the two?
