Hahah . Yea . That price was a touch stee . But I actually bought it in Tennessee. The biggest issue there is the whole "country boy" lifestyle (northerner here). So as soon as someone gets a hold of a truck, they throw some gigantic mudder's on it and tear it up. I can't tell you how many transmissions, differentials, axle shafts, and even whole axles I've helped dudes change. And if it isn't ignorance that destroys one, then its just been good old fashioned farm usage, but people rarely fix their farm trucks and sell them. So that puts the truck market as a sellers market. I found this one completely unmolested and still completely stock. Jumped all over it.
And we do have plows here. Just I think about four or five.

Hmm looks like the bed may have been replaced ( it's missing some pinstripe and I'm pretty sure either the FX4 decals are either for looks or they changed the wheels )
Edit: But on most there is also the Lariat decal at the front of the bed.
Lariat decal is what i meant by pinstripe. and hmm i wonder how to tell if it's an actual FX4 and not just the decal.. does it have rancho shocks ( if they havent been replaced) does it have a H9 axle code ( 3:55 LS ) or B6 ( 3:73 LS )
Northerners salt the roads, floridians salt our margaritas all year round.
edit: Also remember the FX4 package was not offered until 2002 model year. So if you have FX4 decals on a 01 it isnt a FX4.

was the fx4 package offered in the lariat or were they separate onto themselves?
i still get confused on the diff models and packages/trims.
sorry to hijack your thread... it is a nice truck you got there...
