Default Squeaky Noise When Driving Over Bumps

For the past couple months I've noticed a squeaky noise coming from the front of my truck. It only occurs when going over bumps and it seems to go away if I've been driving for a while. Any idea what this could be?

Have about 148000 KM (92k miles) and I've recently replaced all the shocks about a year and a half ago.

Mileage? Usually a squeak over bumps is a sign of just wearing struts

I believe my truck doesn't have struts it has shocks. I could be wrong though. I replaced all the shocks in the truck less than two years ago.

I would suggest inspecting your ball joints. Mine got so bad if I rocked the truck from side to side people got suspicious of what I was doing in my truck haha. If yours are bad, and you purchase new ones, go with MOOG. I suggest doing upper and lower if your going to replace them. MOOG has upper control arms they sell with the ball joint already attached, and the lowers you will have to get pressed in. They are greasable, so you greese them up every oil change and they will last forever.

Your ball joints are dry. Get yourself a needle adapter for your grease gun, it will keep them quiet until you get them replaced.

If it is 2wd like I suspect, then the upper and lower control arm bushings are dry and making the noise most likely. A good silicone based spray will make it go away for a bit, but it will come back. You probably will need upper or lower or both controls arms to rid yourself of the noise. You could always change the bushings with some good units that will never squeak.
