Default Squeaky noise

I just got my first truck about a month ago now it's a 2001 f150 sport 4x4 supercab and I tried fixing the squeak with new thermoquiet brake pads and it's still there. The owner before said he replaced the front brake pads and rotors about a month before I bought it. My dad owns a repair shop and he can't hear it because I guess it's too high pitched so I'm just gonna try to fix it myself. If you have any input I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

did you apply the grease to the back of the pads before installing them?
