I was looking to level my truck and now possibly squat it what do y'all think about a 2 inch level with a 1.25-2 inch rear drop

I think you've got the wrong forum for that. Most of us are against modifying a truck to make it lose capability, dangerous to drive, and look dumb as hell.

If you want it to squat, that'll work but like I made pretty clear above, its a very poor decision.

So just do a level and not drop shackles

I agree. Level it out and leave the back alone. I made the mistake of dropping the rear of my 03. I was using a trailer to move and the damn thing pretty much bottomed out.

If you own a truck you'll always have the need to use it as a truck. Don't take that functionality away from it.

I didn't think about it bottoming out which would be an issue as I have a boat and 4 wheelers that get towed fairly often

Sounds like squat is the last thing you want then! If anything, give yourself about an inch of rake so that when you do tow, you dont go nose high

This is the reason I love this forum it has kept me from doing stupid sh*t to my truck from reading others and now from posting one myself. Y'all opened my eyes to this I know now not to squat it but now the question is 31x10.50 or 31x11

Wont notice much a difference, id probably do whichever is cheaper. Make sure your wheels can handle the water size!
