Default Spray can truck bed coating on bed caps?

My bed caps are getting pretty faded and was wondering if anyone has ever done this? I think it would have a more aggressive look but will it last? If not ill just paint em regular satin black.. Anybody?

My buddy did that on his chevy. But he had old diamond plate bed caps. I'm not sure how that'd work on our plastic ones. For what it's worth, it looked sick on his truck.

I use this stuff on pretty much everything I want to cover up. Great stuff and you can find it in spray cans and paint cans at auto zone.

Yes, just make sure you sand the surface so it can adhere. Stuff is great.

I painted my bed caps tonight. First I cleaned with mineral spirits. Used the krylon fusion satin black, then a clear over the top.

Make sure your tape isn't on the caps or it will peel off a lot. Looks good though! No imperfections.
