ok, so not super happy with my magnaflow muffler. anybody know anything about spin tech? are they any louder then magna flow?

 

What are you unhappy about? Sound, tone, power...?

 

I've had about every exhaust setup you can think of (straights no cats, with cats, turbo tubes, magnaflow, borla black series, etc.) Currently running flowmasters 40 series. But I have not had the ones you are talking about. Thought I could be of some help if you were wondering about anything else.

 

thanks for the replies. i like the deep tone/rumble the magnaflow muffler gave me, but i expected a little more volume. its a simple si/so magnaflow welded into the stock piping. maybe its the stock piping keeping the volume down?

 

to dangalang: in your experience what was the loudest set up with out getting to the point of being annoying. and true dual are out for me. dont really wanna drop a grand on custom pipe work.

 

Well depends on what you like... but when I had the turbo tubes w/ cats, it sounded pretty good once warmed up (it did pop a little on cold start) and if you like a chambered sound, go with a single chamber muffler. I have dual flowmasters right now (2 chamber) and its on the quite side. YouTube can be helpful, there are a lot of setups on there.
