Default Spindle lift...

Thoughts? Pros, cons?

I got the jist of it but I'm getting mixed reviews about spindle lifts bringing the front tires out almost 2 inch wider... anyone have correct info on this? I don't want to use wheel spacers on the rear or front but I also don't want the front to stick out wider then the rear...

Also I just brand new 285/65/75 tires, will these look weird after a spindle lift?

Thanks

Wheel spacers are fine. Just buy quality USA 6061 billets with good g8 studs and torque them after the first 50/500 miles. If you are capable of following instructions and proper maintenance then you'll be fine.

It's not that bad with a spindle lift. You won't have to worry about it.

Why would a spindle lift push the tires out?

I believe to clear the upper ball joint. Since the hub is lower it's to help the tire/wheel from coming in contact with the ball joint that used to be tucked under the wheel.

The RoughCountry spindle will bring out the front quite a bit. 285/75R16 will be fine, even 265/75R16 stills looks okay.

I had 285/70/17's on mine. For a short amount of time I had 35/12.50's. I have pics if you would like.

Ahh, OK. Makes sense. Never really thought about.
