Rule of thought. More air and fuel, less heat in the motor. Less air and fuel, more heat. It just sounds like you are not getting enough air into the system. I'd check the t/b first before condemming the intake manifold. JMO, of course. G/Luck.

One more question. Were the two codes you showed your only codes thrown? Were they are P04XX numbers also?
There is a couple junkyards around here. One I have been using for various trim pieces and fasteners for the truck. There may be a throttle body in there that would work. Only problem is the guy who runs it won't let you return a part if it doesn't work. Just gives you credit. I didn't know throttle bodies went bad. What goes wrong with them? BTW way I don't think theres any thing wrong with the intake manifold, I was referring to the aftermarket cai. No other codes were present

Have you checked your compression?
Rich conditions can be caused by mechanical issues, too.

Checked compression. 185-190 psi on all 8 cylendars. It's weird, the truck runs fine.
