Angry spark plugs

trying to do tune up on my 98 f150. seems i cant get the sparkn plug socket around the spark plug to remove it. its happening in #3 and 4. is it a matter of hitting the socket down with a hammer or is there something else going on here. tried spinning and wiggling socket but it just wont slide over plug. i can here the socket hitting the plug. any help would be appreciated. wires are numbered so im assuming there original. 100k miles had it since 62k. 4.6 ltr

Check for debris in the hole. NO HAMMER. Try using compressed air to clean out the hole. Use a mirrior to look in at the plug and also make sure it is the right size socket.

Thumbs up

ok so i got the mirror and i saw what looked like a spark plug with no nut around it. blew some air and saw the beginning of a nut. used coat hanger to loosen debris enough to blow out again and finally got the socket on what a biatchh. that said the hardest (i hope #4) is done now for the rest. thanks for your help.
