I heard the NGK's are actually really good in these trucks.

Do you know what kind of NGKs?

I only use NGKs in my ecotec.

I don't think this link will help because it shows the gaps for Iridium plugs but this might be helpful to someone.

I attached an image that shows the spark plug gaps for 1997 4.2L and 4.6L Ford engines. 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 4.2L, 4.6L, and 5.4L. (keyswords added for searches).

The image also shows torque specs for the spark plugs and wheels.

This image came from a Haynes manual for a 1997 - 2003 (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002) Ford F150. <--- More keywords... sorry

For non members who cannot see the image, the spark plug gap for a 4.2 L 2001 F-150 is .054 inch.
