Default Spark plugs

I have misfire on cylinder two, pretty sure it's spark plugs so I wanna replace with good ones. What do y'all use? I see they have ones with three points for the spark to hit? Wouldn't the electricity just go to the spot with Least resistance? Or just stick with oem? Thanks

What about those E3 spark plugs that are always on the powerblock on spike tv? Has any one used those or heard anything about them?

The tritons do not like E3 plugs. The are shrouded and actually inhibit correct burn patterns. I myself have been using NGK Iridium IX and EFX coils for the last 80k miles. I still replace my plugs once a year regardless of mileage. But I still would not push plugs past 50k if you run fuel with a Ethanol blend.

+1 ^. The 4.6 almost as a rule, needs Nickel plugs - and there are multiple threads here about that, due to heat characteristics. My stepson had a 2000 Crown Victoria, with a 4.6, that he went with so-called double platinum plugs, and 20K after the change, one was literally spit out of the head, and required the "sert" job (`$250) to fix.
