All filters tend to stick and be tough to get off even tightened only hand tight. They usually say something like once it contacts then 3/4 turn by hand or some kind of crap like that..... Every filter I've ever had has been screwed on snug by hand..... Often using a paper towel to enhance the grip because my hands are greasy. Usually need a filter wrench to break it to get it off.... that's why they sell filter wrenches
Im just astounded... had no idea.
Ill just stick with Wix.

Not a measurement, its number of flutes. 36 for motorcraft 15 for wix.

Motorcraft is the right way to go for oil filter no doubt...
but the WIX is probably a better filter, it's heavier and probably made just a bit better!
True enough, I got a bulk deal on the motorcrafts though so when I run out in another year or so, I'll see what I go with next lol. Eh its just surface rust, just means there's still steel there 😅
