Spark plug question
I searched, but couldn't find a good answer to my question.
I have a '98 with the 4.6l and 85k on the ticker so I'm thinking of doing a little tuneup. I'm wondering what kind of plugs would be good for the job. I can find a stock replacement, no problem. I'm just curious if anybody has used a special type of plug with good results for any extra power/MPG.
On the other side of the coin, any kind that I should stay away from because they're garbage?
Thanks
Gonna work on the truck this weekend. Can't wait to change my muffler bearings, add some headlight fluid, and add my new Tornado Fuel Saver.

Stick with Motorcraft plugs. These triton engines are pretty picky on what they like. If you want to spend more get Denso Iridiums, they work but I've never seen any extra power from them. Stay away from Champion plugs, many on here have had misfires after installing them.
