Default Spark plug change

I have a 97 150 with the 4.6 with 170000 miles. I wanna change the spark plugs don't know if they've been changed before. Anyone know the chances that they'll brake off?

Very little. Might be in there pretty good, but shouldn't break.

You have the one piece plugs. You shouldnt have a problem.

There is some 2-piece plugs for other models; I think the 5.4's.

Here's an idea: The night before you change the plugs, pull all the wires, blow any debris out of the holes, then spray some penetraing lube in the holes and let stand over night.

Next day, try removing them. I would try to clean up and excessive oil first using a shop rag and screw driver, or blow it out. Maybe the oil with gravity feed and help with loosening them. (Just a thought.)
