I ordered a set of 17" x 8.5" Vision 375 Machined Black Warriors today and a set of 285x70 17 Nitto Terra Grapplers today. The wheels have a +18 mm offset. I checked and my stock FX4 wheels have are 17" x 7.5" with a +14 offset. The tire calculator says these tires will be 16.7 mm closer in than my current setup.

I've already cranked the T-bars, so I'm not worried about fender clearance. I'm concerned about the clearance on the inside of the tires. It looks like I have enough clearance behind the front tires to clear the upper control arms. I'm not sure about some of the other dimensions though.

Does anyone know if I'm going to need spacers for these tires to clear? I'm considering getting 1" or 1.5" spacers for behind the rims because I want the wider stance look. My question is will I need a spacer or will it just come down to whether I want them?

 

BTW, I'll have a set of FX4 rims with Cooper Discoverer H/T tires with 50% tread remaining for sale next week,

 

What did you end up having to do? I am looking at ordering these as well. Also, I can't tell from your photos, did you order the black and chrome wheels, or just the chrome ones?
