Do not plastidip them. You want both mating surfaces clean, and free of paint or anything that effect the wheel being torques correctly.

If I plastidip them I would be taking them off so I didnt have to worry about overspray.

Ya'll know of a good place to order them from? Links would be great. I dont know much about them.

If you use a spraycan its actually really clean. I am just going to masking tape mine if it will stick (havent tried yet) or cut a wooden disk out same size as the rim and use the negative as a mask.

It really has pretty minimal overspray. No idea about a spray gun though if you go that route.

dipyourcar.com carries it but you can get rattle can at any hardware store. I would hazard at least 3-4 cans maybe? I did my bedrails, back window trim, and mirrors with 2 cans.

Ive seen people do it before. I think they tape off the lugs and around the bead. Surely if you do that it is fine? If you get new tires it might screw it up, but its plastidip, its super easy to touch up.

I also considered self etching primer - adhesion promoter - black rustoleum but that would require wetsanding and the black rustoleum in liquid form is known to fade.

Platidip is rubber. It wont take the heat of brakes, and 2 it will affect the way the spacers torque down. You need to use regular spray paint, and try to keep it away fromt eh mating surfaces.

Take the heat of the brakes? Im not dipping the spacers or rotors or any brake components. Im going to plastidip my rims. Its not going to come in contact with my spacers or lug nuts or anything. Itll just be my rims.
