Default Spacers

Ive heard a lot of bad stuff about wheel spacers and how they put a lot of stress on the front end so I'd just like to know what it does to cause the stress

Pretend the wheel is a lever - by moving the wheel further away from the wheel bearings and ball joints you are making the lever longer = more stress on wheel bearings and suspension components.

I run them on my Jeep CJ, but it is a stretch to see 55 mph. No way would I run them on the Ford which sees 90 on a regular basis.

Like billmck said, they put alot of added stress on parts that aren't designed to take it.
