Default Sources For Replacement ABS Pump

I have a code that the ABS pump is bad. The module on the 2000 F150 4X4 is no. YL-34-2C346-AG.

I have done a search but have not located a good source for new or rebuilt pumps. I have seen used ones on automotix and ebay.

Has anyone procured a rebuild from any good sources or know of good sources by reputation?

Also, are the units ending in AA and other codes entirely compatible with AG if the first nine digits and letters match?

This thread on here might help you

That seems to be the main problem with them, or is your problem different?

I have read the threads on the module previously, and they are informative. But I cannot isolate the problem to the module this time.

I had the original module repaired with a replaced chip, then sent it back and repaired again, and I bought a refurb from Cardone through Rock Auto. I have placed both modules on there and get the same readings. I am frustrated with it, and the dealer could not sort out the problem from reading the codes.

My next step was to replace the pump and use it with the rebuilt module and see what happens. I replaced all 3 sensors and the cartridge fuse as well.

Oddly, the repaired module worked well until I had new tires installed, and the light came on with that. I wondered if they had buggered the sensors and changed them.

I picked one up at a pull a part junk yard for my truck. I had to replace the entire module. Had a hard brake line leak caused by the previous owner replacing the line, and running it too close to the steering shaft. When he replaced the original line, he cross threaded it into the module. Couldn't get the new line to seal properly. SO I had to replace the whole thing. Cost me $50, dealership wanted $1400 for the part.
