Default Smoking Tailpipe

My 1999 Ford F150 Supercab with a 4.2l V6 has been emitting alot of white smoke lately on the first start and will be like this for 5mins or more. The engine seems to run fine but with the amount of smoke coming out of the tailpipe is just like watching the movie "Uncle Buck". What causes this and any help from the forum will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think white smoke coming out of your tailpipe is associated with a coolant leak...check that out ASAP.

Default Smoking Tailpipe

Hi Javi,
I did check the coolant reservoir and the level of coolant in it seems to be the same and the engine is not burning oil either. I am really puzzled about it. Anymore ideas that you can throw in? Thanks
Raul

My next guesses would be water leaking from your intake manifold or a busted headgasket. What does the smoke smell like, and does your oil look good?
