Default Sliding rear window to solid?

I have a 2003 F150 SCab, with a manual sliding rear window. I hate it and it leaks. Is it possible to switch it with a solid back glass? If so how much might it cost?

It's a pretty easy switch, take out some off the back interior pieces and there are 12 bolts that hold the window in. You just pry it out easy there is no need to touch the outer trim piece. Oriellys has 3m window weld in a tube or you can get 3m butyl tape somewhere to seal the new window. Just make sure you do it somewhere heated or wait til summer. I don't know where your at but I have a factory tinted solid window I want to sell I'd take $70 for. FYI any of these windows can leak solid or slider it was bad factory sealing.

I'm located in north Florida, and do you think a body shop would have it in stock? And would there be a higher likelihood of it leaking if I changed it.

Not sure bout if body shop would have it. They prob would but charge ya an arm ans leg for it. I would say look in Craigslist or pull a part. As far as It leaking just take ur time make sure it's warm and everything is cleaned off really well. I did mine. It wasn't leaking but had to do it for another reason lol. But it wasn't hard at all did it over a yr ago and no leaks. Now when warms up I am goin from solid to slider lol. Already got the slider and trim for 30 bucks. Think when I get my solid out ill sell it for 50 so can break even. I gotta buy the butyl tape from Napa for 20 bucks that's what I used.

salvage yard is the place to go for a window man. youll pay close to $300 or more for a new solid rear window.

the salvage yard by me has atleast 3 good looking solid rear windows and a couple sliders.

what is leaking on your window?
