A Completely based take, but here goes... I have a '99 single cab 5.4, lifted a bit. It was wrecked so I parked it awhile. Now I'm in the beginning stages of getting it fixed back up & roadworthy. So, I have been looking at a bunch of options and pics on the forum. Still, I gotta say, as a "single cab, 10th gen" owner I kinda feel like a lottery winner with how sporty yet polished this particular truck model looks! The crew cab is surely more plentiful and work friendly, but good night! There's just something about that single cab "look" that keeps me saying, "this truck is worth keeping/having/fixing!"
Just wondering if other "single cab" owners prefer the style over others too?
Here's a pic. Even though its wrecked, and needs some work, I still like it!
I am particularly fond of this generation's looks. I agree that it is a great bodystyle, which, ironically, I hated when it first came out... I own a 2001 XLT 4x4 5.4l, but it's a Supercrew, and I wouldn't trade it for a new truck. Honestly, I'd feel cramped in a single cab nowdays...

😅
Way back when, I told myself I’d take one of these trucks only if it was loaded to the gills. I was just getting out of high school when 10Gs came out. Life comes at you funny, since I ended up with an XL (though a nicely equipped XL) to replace my Ranger back in summer ‘07. I may balance that out by snagging 1G Expedition or Navigator for a camping type vehicle, though.
