Default Side Exhaust

Im planning on doing my exhaust when i do the BD lift in the next month. Im wondering what you guys think of doing my exhaust out in front of the rear tires? I was gonna do the cowboy style but i want something different. Sorry not many pics i could dig up.

What's "Cowboy" style? I have a single exit in front of my passenger rear tire and like it. I've heard that it causes that wheel to rust out, but it hasn't bothered me yet.

There's a few exhaust kits out there to do that, almost did it with mine. Try either Heartthrob or Gibson to do it

Same here. i got a glasspack dumping right before the rear tire. Soon gonna be running dual glasspacks dumping there. Been like that for 30000 miles with no rim problems.

Or just get a shop to bend the pipe for you. I had my glasspack installed for $100 and they routed the exhaust exactly where I wanted it

i got a 97 too, came stock like the way your wanting it, wasnt a huge fan of it so i stuck a flowmaster on there and ran duals out the back, i love that look. but im guessing running a flowmaster or magnaflow on there with it coming out the side like that with a nice tip would look nice, so i say go for it
