The killing part is a negative flare tapped horn is the least efficient of the 3 possible designs (straight and positive flare). I chose small and low regarding Hoffman's Law.

Fair enough. The engineering aspects of the box itself has me in awe tbh. I havent put that much though into audio before and now I want to know what im missing.

The Hornresp thread will teach you how I designed that enclosure.

Also, I think there is Tapped Horn For Dummies thread on AVSForum.com.

In it's simplest form, a tapped horn is a 7 board enclosure just like a bass reflex, vented, or ported enclosure. However, a tapped horn is a 6th order enclosure like a BP6 (series ported bandpass).

Default 02 f150 lariat supercrew

Here's my 02 F150 5.4 lariat supercrew got a few little things I bought it with, exhaust, k&n filter throttle body spacer don't know for what, I just got this HD wheels for $100 from my buddy lifted 3" rough country lift. Aftermarket running boards JL audio system 2 10" one in the back seat another one under my center console HID's top and bottom SVT headlights and depo fogs tonneau cover, will paint the truck next week. Opinions welcome, thanks
