Absolutely. I will be doing it on my red one soon. The fans didnt seem to pull so bad when I had the new wiring.

I have been looking into doing that and efans this summer now that I got all my aux wiring how I want it. So it wasn't to hard to do then? Did you add an extra battery too?

I never needed to add another battery tbh. It wasnt hard to do at all just as long as you have a vice to crimp the ends on

Gotcha yeah I doubt I will ever need an extra battery, but I probably should upgrade my alternator if I add anything else. I got all the tools so I'll probably do that this summer and do the rest of IDBs little electrical tricks in the meantime

Refers to replacing the battery wires (ignition system) with heavier gauge welding wire for better current flow.

Anyone can go out and spend 40K and buy a new 2015 F150, shout out to you guys working hard and appreciating what you have / fixing what you have. Despite what many think, I have a couch In my office I sleep on when on shift to put myself through school and support my truck addiction. Keep it up. This community has been so good to me over the years even though I may come off as a dick some days j mean well.... fellas.
