This is actually backwards from what you might think. I had floods before and I had a lot more light scatter. With spots, there's a really bright area up close to the truck and out along the ground to the sides, but it doesn't shine high enough to blind people

Ahh okay. So doing what Browning is. if you had factory fog lights just try and wire it to those wiring. Idk if that could be done but it would be cool haha

That's how mine are. They come on with the headlights. They're a direct replacement for my fog lights, 2 wires per side and it's done, no extra switches or wiring

Link? Most 8" lights I've seen are just 6" bars measured to the ends of the brackets.

I was thinking along the theory of a concentrated pattern hitting you would be way less blinding than a less concentrated. I've got combos in mine...

Mine don't hit anybody in the face, when I'm on low beams all of the direct light from my setup is below eye level on oncoming traffic.

Really like the stance of the wheels without the brush guard, but I don't know if I like the front end without it. I like having something to step on to work on the motor lol. Im going to be replacing head gaskets within the next 2 months, not looking forward to it. After that regear with bigger and wider tires.
