I looked into a body lift a few years ago and there are horror stores from other forums of body lifts...man spend the money and do it right. I found out the hard way trying to put a leveling kit to get height and $4500 later I after replacing the axles twice, stabilizer bars, ball joints, ect. It's finally right cuz I finally broke down and had a suspension lift put on. It rides like factory now with the rattling, vibrating I went with for a year
You cranked the bars too far and body lifts do not hurt anything,I've never heard of body lifts causing any problems

I agree, maybe this guy was driving his truck like he stole it.... i mean ive had my truck for about 3 yeas now with a 3 inch body lift and t-bars cranked... and the only issue ive had suspension wise is shocks are old and worn. haha axle shaft boots were gone, but thats cause the PO would never wash the undercarriage after a mudding session..... (my biggest pet peeve.)

I drive mine like I stole it and put it in the mud at least once a week,no body lift issues at all.

I have never heard a story about body lifts like this...must be from installs. They are much safer/reliable than a suspension lift

Ive rallied mine up some pretty good trails with no issues from the Tbar crank or the 3" body lift. Went to retorque all the bolts on the BL after a month and they were still nice and tight. No issues what so ever.

Got the wheels/tires installed and leveled with cranked torsion bars.

Well I know for a fact if you turn the tbars up to much you will tear your truck up...My father n law is a very experience mechanic....but I never put a body lift on so cant say for sure what it does when you go to high but what I researched it's a lot of stress on the body when you go above 2"....if you have them on and no problems that's great but your still not getting any more clearance on your frame so how your getting away with not hitting the frame behind your front tires when you flex is beyond me but if it's working for you that's great...I put 35s on with a 3" leveling kit lift and they didn't fit without taking a chance of hitting the frame so went with 305/70s...I don't have to worry about anymore with a 6" lift

Nah I try my truck like a Lincoln...I keep it on the pavement as much as possible because I put to much $$$ in it to trash it...it's more like a show piece than an off-road vehicle. I made a mistake putting a leveling kit on....but the bouncy of my torsion bars were gone so that caused problems when you turn up the torsion bars to much...you can talk to my lift guy and he will tell you better than me...I just wanted more than my 3 inches because I wanted to fit 35s without cutting the plastic on my bumper and taking the chance of ruining my tires
