I just put four polk 5.5" x 7.5 " into my 97 f150 with a pioneer head unit & it kicks major azz...I haven't found a place to mount the tweets as of yet..Might put them into my Golf TDI coupe instead..

Here in about a month I'm re-doing my speakers,6x9 kickers all the way around and a 10" Kicker under the back seat,I can't wait! I already have a Kenwood headunit,so it should be pretty good. As for the tweeters,I've seen them mounted under the Oh **** handles on a lot of trucks.

Exactly. Or else they won't get as loud as the ones you have now, and not as clear at higher volumes.

6x9's won't fit in the doors, I tried

4.6L, 4x4, Browning 63" whip, in grille lights, throttle body spacer, 2 10" subs, Pyle 5x7s in door, runs like new love it to death

So everyone on this forum has the same steering wheel cover as me? Lol. Nice truck by the way,how do the 10" subs sound? I've been having a debate with myself,1 or two 10s... If I got two I think I'd do them in single boxes,one under the rear seat on the left and one on the right.

If you have a very shallow mount one and a spacer it might work, on mine it touched the window before the edges of the hole.

Damn,I found a good deal on 6x9 Kickers,$56 a pair. So 6x8 is gonna be the best choice?
