So one of my cablights went out the other day...it had moisture in it and I think that shorted it maybe. But I have another one that has water in it too... basically recon wants $55 with shipping for 2 lights, should I just buy the whole kit for 90 and keep the other in case one goes out?

I did silicone them, I think they just got water in them for 2 reasons, 1) I think the screw in them didnt seat right, and 2) I work a a car wash and used to take my truck through it and they use high pressure prep guns (like a power washer but way stronger) on the fronts of vehicles and it messed up my kc lights too. But basically I think thats how they got water in them. But I think Ill just buy another set. Currently they are unplugged cause it looks gay with 4 cab lights.

yea they're sealed pretty well actually but high water pressure will always find a way in. Ruined 4 of my kc lights, had to replace those, and now ruined 2 of my cab lights.
