Duplicolor perfect match YN metallic silver. But I also used SEM flexible plastic primer and SEM chip guard clear, those are expensive though

Well that 1 can of chip guard was $25 and the primer was $15, the 2 cans of silver was $15.

I put 3 coats of primer waiting 10 minutes between each, then sanded it smooth after an hour of dry time. Then 4 coats of silver 10 minutes between each, then like 3 coats of clear. It took a while but I had plenty other stuff to do in the meantime.

Took some new pics now that I've made a little more progress. What do you think?









Still have to put on an new exhaust tip and put the toolbox back on after a fresh coat of paint, should look spiffy

what grit did you sand with? and wet sand?

Looks good, is that an exhaust tip coming through the rocker? Hard to tell on my phone

Started with 220. Then after the primer I used 800 dry. That's all the sanding I did
