Default Should I wait until summer ?

I just bought these wheels , & tires for my 97 F150 sportside . Should I wait until summer to mount the tires on these wheels ? Or just run them this winter & hope my Pa winter does minimal damage ! I can also mounth the tires on my factory wheels some ying yang sprayed flat black lol . Thanx in advance guys .

Run them from now til the snow starts, come spring put them back on?

If I run them from now until snow starts (mid october ) I'd have to pay for unmounting & remounting them every six mo's lol ...the ones on it have fair tread for a few more summers ...I drive a whopping 1/2 mi to jump in my kw & then the same back home lol .

ya the winter will slowly tear up the chrome plating on those rims. You will get pits and stuff in the finish on the backside (and maybe the front too) which cant really be fixed unless you get them totally refinished.

If they are aluminum, I say throw em on. A good can of Meguires Hot Rimz will clean anything up you get on em. Thats the huge plus of aluminum polishing over chrome!
