Default Should I go 37" or 35"?

Im getting a FabTech 6" lift and a PA 3" Body lift on my 02 f150 supercab for a total of 9 inches of lift. My dilemma is i dont know if i should get 37 inch tires or 35 inch tires. If i go 37 i ll get 20 inch rockstars too and if i go 35 i ll get 18 inch rockstars most likely. HELP!! I dont know which way to go

One of my friends has that body style F150 w/ the the same lift and he is running 37" baja claws, they fit it real nicely

First of all, can I have some extra $ you got lyin' around to do that to my truck? Seriously though, is it a 4x4 or a 2WD? I have a friend who has a '99 2WD with a 9" Fabtech suspension lift runnin' 33"s and 16" rims (looks good). He just recently put a 3" body lift and threw some 35" tires on his 16's (I think. I haven't gotten to see it yet). But when he had just the 9" suspension on his 2WD, my stock '00 4x4 was only like 3"-4"s shorter than his. Anyway, post some pics with stock tire/wheel setup to really know.

Do you plan on using your truck or mall crawlin? Cause you have a mall crawlin set up. 37s would be the best for your lift specs, but you gonna need new gears either way. I would choose a different tire if you plan on using that thing off road. Just my thought happy building. You are going to do your own lift right?

I plan on going off road but not that much and if I do it would
be easy or intermediate trails. I am not doing my own lift I personally don't think I could do it. So you would suggest going with different tires besides the kuhmo mud terrains?

Yea I would suggest something to the tune ofBFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM2 tires
or the
Wrangler MT/R Tires. I think they give you the best tread life, traction, least road noise, ect for your money. As far as rims go, I personally don't think it is worth spending a lot of money on them. Remember bigger tires equals worse gas mileage. So don't go big just to look cool. If and only if you will use your truck a lot off road, then go with 37 because unless you re-gear the truck you are looking at a significant power loss. Also going with a smaller rim will cut down on over all cost substantially. My truck is my avatar - sorry it is only a drive way shot; I don't have any of my off road shots down loaded. But that is what the Fabtech 6in and 35 look like. Remember if your getting this lift professionally installed you are looking at some serious bills for that so start to look at the overall cost instead of just parts. I would suggest making a trip out to the shop that is doing the work and talking this over with them. Happy mall crawlin
