So I'm looking at a 1997 lariat 4x4 4.6L scab tomorrow. The guy wants $750 for it. The truck has a little over 200,000 miles on it and no transmission. Basically, I want the truck to practice working on it and use it as a do anything and not worry if it breaks kinda truck. What do you all think? I haven't looked at it up close personally so I'm not sure how much rust it has but here are some distance pics

Looks like a truck with 4 wheels. Lol. Can't see much more.

We can get around $750 to scrap a truck with no engine or trans. Seems like a good deal especially to learn on. Trans is cheap.

put a trans in it. Sell it for an easy 5,000 make a 2 thousand dollar profit. Even if you have to put a thousand dollars into other things in her you still could make a grand. Then take that money and buy another f150! Ha

You are sadly mistake if a 97 with a 4.6 will sell for 5k. Put a JY transmission an flip it for about 2500 easily
