Default Shocks need replacing.

I need to get new shocks for my 2003 f150 4x4. I have been looking at the ranchos and I like them and have heard great reviews about them. The ones I am looking at say they are 1 to 2.5 inches higher than stock. Does that mean I need a lift on my truck or does that lift my truck. My truck has the torsion bars cranked up a little bit. Is that enough? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure on the lift stuff for your year. I just put RS-9000XL's on mine with quicklifts up front and its an incredible ride. I recommend the 9000's because they're ride adjustable.
