Default Shocks?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has taken out the stock shocks on an F-150 and put in any aftermarket shocks? If so what kind, I'm looking to clear 35's and want a small lift as well if that helps.
Also, are the shocks from the 4x4 F-150's different from the shocks on a 2wd F-150?
Thank you guys!

Just a FYI shocks do not raise or lower the height of the truck. I ran Bilsteins 5100s on my 2003 and liked them a lot.

2wd and 4x4 shocks are different heights, yes. As mentioned, shocks do not lift your truck. If you are a 4x4 and want to run 35's, you need to crank your T-bars up. If you are a 2wd, the 7.5" Fabtech lift is speced to run 35's. You probably could go smaller, I don't have any 2wd experience though so IDK what exactly you could get away with.
