Default Shocks.

I'm going to be getting some rancho shocks with my new tires. And I am wanting to know from the guys with cranked bars which shocks are you guys getting stock or the ones for 1-2" of lift? Cause my bars are cranked at least 1.5". And another thing I'm going with 285s will the steering stabilizer doing any benefit? Or is it only with big tires like 315s?

I have the stock size shock with my t bars cranked and they're perfectly fine. As for the steering stabilizer I don't think you need one with 33s with mine it rides like a dream no shake in the wheel

just my .02 but i wouldnt go with the ranchos.. i had them on mine and they were dead in less than 2000 miles, and i wasnt ragging on them at all just a few dirt roads here and there.. for a comparable price i would look at the skyjacker 9000's. a friend of mine has them on our style truck and hes got 15000 on them, and lots of offroad use and theyre still going strong. i went with bilstein and am also very happy. again im not bashing just giving my input

Spend the money for bilsteins. Also go with a 1-2" longer shock it will make a difference in how the front rides. Especially being you have a reg cab and get way more lift than the Scabs, and Screws. I run 305's and use to have a stabilizer and it held tremendously.
