Default Shock replacement

I'm getting down to replacing my shocks on my 03' FX4. I got a set of Rancho RS5000X's coming from Rockauto. I also want to replace the bolts/nuts that hold the shocks in place at the axles. Does anyone know the Ford part#'s for these, or what the bolt size/thread pitch is for this hardware? If I can find a substitute, I'd use some grade 8 nuts/bolts- but would much rather stick to OEM. Anyone have anything to say about the Rancho's? I'm just replacing what was installed on my truck when I bought it- and I remember back when these trucks were new, they had Ranchos on them from the factory/dealership?

Unless you live in rustville, i cant see need. If your shock bolts are rusted away you've probably got bigger rust problems too...mounts ..bed...frame...

Doesn't rust where I live, I'd have no problem going to the U-Pull-It and grabbing a couple if I needed them. It take about 1 minute with a cordless impact wrench.

Dealer can probably order them for you. Or if they're the same as model years that are still supported they could have some in stock

No thanks on the Rancho. Nothing special other than the paint. Edlebrock are a good mid level....if you can still get them

Worst you can do, - Bilstien 4600's. Just the 4600's as they're too short in the front for these trucks...yet they sell for these models.

Best Fox 2.0's. They.have some girth, but much lower dampening and handling for the every day stuff. Better ride all around
