Default Shock question.

I will soon be replacing the shocks on my rig and was contemplating if there'd be any advantages to using shock absorbers for the 7700 model on my supercrew. Would I gain anything from this other than a stiffer ride?

Will it even work?

I don't think they would even work. They gave 7700 shocks for my 97, and they were two different part numbers. So I had to wait for the right ones.

Yeah... they're definitely two different part numbers but in looking at both, they look to have the same mounting points and roughly the same size.
