Unhappy Shifting problems

The other day I was driving my 2001 F-150 and it wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear. Had the truck at 4000 rpm and wouldn't shift, even feathered it for a little ways and nothing. I stopped and let it sit than when I started driving again it worked fine and has been fine ever since. Anyone else have the same issue?

Its the shift solenoid, they hang up in the 4R70Ws. Mine does it about 2 or 3xs a year coming out of 2nd. If it happens alot the spring may be broke.

How serious is this shift solenoid? And how hard is it to replace? I haven't been having any problems myself, but its always good to know.
