Default Shifter Problems

My shifter on my 2002 F150 is a little off. I doesn't quite get to the "P" when it's in park and it goes down below "1" when in 1st. The pointer is a little below each letter on the shifter. Any one ever seen this before?

It happens quiet often with these trucks if you look under the dash, and follow the shift cable, there is a little adjuster with a wheel on it. Just turn the wheel till it all lines up again.

Thanks My03fx4, sounds easy enough! I'll try that right now.

I followed the cable up to a metal holder. then on up to the shifter arm, I didn't feel or see a wheel. Will I have to remove the cable from the metal holder or the shifter arm?

After all this time I finally found that dang little wheel! I just wasn't following far enough. Took a whole 2 minutes to fix. Thanks again, KP

No problem. I was curious as to why you couldn't find it.
