Sometimes when I turn the key the battery turns on but not the truck? I have to literally pull the shifter up so the needle in the dash is right on the"p"? And its getting harder to turn on the truck. Whats going on?

Probably the safety switch for neutral next time put it in the neutral position and see if it works that way
