I'm going to be plowing this winter and am looking to do some transmission work to get it prepared. The plans are a bigger cooler, pan, possibly a filter, and a shift kit. Can anyone recommend a good shift kit and where to buy it?

by the way i've got a 4.6L 4x4 auto

b&m makes shift kits for the 4r70w and maybe the 4r100 but if you have the 4.6 its going to be a 4r70w. i was looking into it for mine. a bigger coolers is mandatory if you are doing mods to your tranny. heat is what kill em.

 

yea sorry forgot to update. im gettin all the stuff from summit. B&M shift kit, B&M deep tranny pan, and a cooler. So i'll be set for sure. all together it'll only cost around $300
