My column gear selector is flimsy as hell. It never points directly in the middle of what ever gear it is in. I have it roughed in as good as I can get it with the cable adjustment (functional and unbroken). When I move it into drive it falls into the bottom of "D". I'll lift it up to where it is centered on D and wish that it would stay. It doesn't. Is there a way to fix this?
